Back in 2000, my wife, Sheri, and I were on Lowen & Navarro's fan club cruise, enjoying the fresh salt air, good friends, and good music.

Somewhere, in a lounge in the middle of the ocean, an idea was formed during a conversation with the guests of honor. We were tired of always having to go to Chicago to sit in some noisy, smoky club to hear Eric & Dan play, so we proposed that next time they were in the region, they come play at CST.

Eric said, "That sounds interesting...," and One Night Jam was born. Since then, they've played our stage three times, and have become friends, both of the theatre and of Sheri and I.

Singer/songwriter Tristen has a resume that could make a seasoned veteran long to be young again. Inspired by a Lilith Fair concert in the summer of 1997, Tristen began working on songs that would become her first CD. At age 16, Tristen released her first self-titled CD of original music in March of 1999.

At age 17 she released her follow-up CD Something Good in August of 2000. With Something Good Tristen's compositions went down an acoustic pop road. Her third CD, Among The Crowd, recorded and produced by one of Chicago's top indie producers, Larry Millas of The Ides of March, is garnering high praise from all over. A very strong voice, insightful lyrics, a captivating presence.
