One Night Jam Series One Night Jam brings the finest singer/songwriters from around the country into the comfortable, intimate setting of the Chicago Street Theatre. No hype, no fancy stuff. Just incredible music stripped down to the bare essentials at reasonable ticket prices. Typically, the artist performs on the set from one of our plays, so it's also a lot of fun visually! Are you tired of the smoky, noisy club scene? Tired of waiting until 11:30pm for the band to play? So are we. CST's 'One Night Jam' series is all about the music, whether it's rock, pop, folk-rock, country, jazz or blues. Let's face it - good music is good music, regardless of the label radio slaps on it. Haven't heard of one of our artists before? Trust us -- we're pretty picky. Take a chance, you'll be glad you did. Sheri and I do all of this purely for the love of the music, and we want to share the music with all of you. That's why it's so discouraging for us when an artist only sells 35 tickets - that means that 100 people are missing out on one of the best live-music values in the Midwest. We're going to be trying a number of different internet- and email-based marketing plans, including involving you, the people who come to our One Night Jams, in helping to spread the word.
