BIG MUSICAL TRIBUTE

To close our 49th season and gear up for our Golden Anniversary, CTG is reviving the musical based on the acclaimed book by Studs Terkel. Last performed by CTG in 1992, Working is a tribute to our country through the actual words of people Terkel interviewed for his book and music by artist like James Taylor and Stephen Schwartz (Godspell and Disney’s Pocahontas). CTG is teaming award-winning directors Jonni Pera and Trisha Hales for this musical celebration.

Book by Nina Fasao & Stephen Schwartz
Lyrics by Craig Carnelia, James Taylor, Micki Grant, Stephen Schwartz & Susan Birkenhead
Music by Craig Carnelia, James Taylor, Mary Rodgers, Micki Grant and Stephen Schwartz
